Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Ltd. operates as a logistics real estate investment trust. The company invests in a diversified portfolio of producing logistics real estate and serves clients worldwide.
Many of the buildings under their mantle are large industrial spaces, ideal roof real estate for commercial solar systems.
Split across 2 x NMI's in the one building for dual occupancy, Greenwood were engaged by Vaughan Constructions to install 2 x separate PV Systems (59.76kW & 39.6kW) at the new Mapletree Logistics warehouse in Truganina.
Further to this, Greenwood also had to commission two separate solar panel systems to integrate with the hot water systems on site.
As this was a building site during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, strict policies were put in place with all contractors to adhere to the government legislation at the time.
Greenwood Solutions did the requisite interval data analysis of the site, the load consumption profile and also taking into consideration existing HVAC infrastructure, roof profile came up with the following recommendations
System Design:
In the 1st year, the combined systems will produce 130,086kWh of renewable energy.
The Huawei Logger is integrated into the building's communications network so team members can see how much offset is being created by the solar generation.
Greenwood aftercare division also monitors the system to ensure it is working to its maximum potential.
Overall, Mapletree Logistics in partnership with Vaughan Constructions has reduced their C02 emissions by 137 tonnes per year on this site.
