Greenwood Yearly Round-Up

December 20, 2019
By

This has been our biggest year so far in terms of growth; we outgrew our old office and moved into our brand new space in Abbotsford, filled the space with new team members, rebranded the company and completed some of our biggest projects yet.

It might be a bit self-indulgent but we’re proud of what the team has achieved this year, so here is what 2019 looked like for us (we promise, we will keep it short and sweet)...

Rebranding the Business

The decision to rebrand the company was made in 2018, so to see it come to life this year was a great achievement!

As we have grown our services and products have developed and shifted focus, we felt it was time to revamp our look and message to align with our new mission. We worked with our good friends at The Books to redesign our image and create a user friendly website experience for our visitors.

The main outcome of the rebrand was defining the business into three clear offerings: commercial, industry and training. As our customers' needs vary so much between services, we wanted to make it as easy as possible to navigate our website and find what you are looking for.

Our engineers and dedicated installation team manage the commercial side of the business, creating energy management plans for organisations to help them become more energy efficient and save them money in the process.

The industry team provided solar installers and project managers with injection testing, grid applications and grid protection services to help their projects run smoother and become more cost-effective.

We started to create training programs for the industry a few years ago when we saw a gap in the market for quality training that came from professionals within the industry. At the moment, the face to face courses run in Victoria, NSW and Queensland and have been a great success in helping domestic installers make the move to commercial projects. We have big plans for our training division in 2020 so make sure you stay tuned!

We believe these three offerings compliment each other well and have helped us to develop a team with a wide knowledge of the energy industry. We are always keen to receive feedback on our services and website, so please feel free to get in touch and let us know if we can improve your experience in any way.

Moving Office

We finally moved office in 2019! If you visited us at our old place, with just a few of us squeezed into a little office at Melbourne University, you will understand how exciting this was for us.

Whilst our old office served us well, we are so pleased with our new space in Abbotsford and we are thankful for all the hard work the Greeenwood team put into making it a great space to be.

If you are ever in the area, make sure you pop by and say hello!

ISO Accreditation

A huge accomplishment for us this year was becoming ISO accredited! The process started 2 years ago and resulted in us gaining certification under three key ISO management system standards - namely ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

This signifies to our clients and partners that we are committed to the high standards outlined by ISO as we continue to improve our quality, environmental and safety processes across all business activities.

We wouldn't have been able to do it without the hard work and long hours the team put in and a special shout out to Dave, Adam and Veli for making it all possible!

2019 in Statistics

Here are a few statistics from the work we have completed over the year, as always the Greenwood team have worked tirelessly to make every project a success!

That's all from us for this year, we would like to wish everyone a happy new year and thank all our partners and suppliers that have come along with us on this journey so far, we look forward to working with you all next year!
